Landscape Your Life (LYL) beta event a great success!

Late August in western NC is a great place to study garden design surrounded by dahlias, late summer wildflowers and knowledgeable experts! Mary Palmer Dargan, asla instructed the beta event goers with her version of the perfect landscape design learning weekend. 2 full days of lectures, both of which had 4 hours of field study to beautiful, mature mountain gardens and receptions at Chattooga Gardens and the Dixons completed the event. Day 3 was an optional design studio where students brought their projects and received first hand instruction.

We’re getting geared up for the Atlanta Create Your Oasis: Landscape Design for Today’s Lifestyle to be held at the Atlanta History Center October 5-6-7, 2012. Please visit our website for more details. 

Landscape Your Life Debuts Poppy!

 

When Hugh and I decided to write the next book, we thought about our lifestyle, vision and mission.

What  fresh, new, creative and different ways we could communicate the transformation we offer? This appealed to us, two seasoned war horses standing and nickering at the gate.

So, we shot this little film with jimbo Marshall.

My mother is not certain she likes it since I wear make-up and a lab coat, but she is supportive. My, oh so sophisticated, European expat brother suggested it was a bit, hmmm, well…hee-haw. HEE-HAW!  What did you expect when you mix a Mary Palmer in a lab coat wearing make-up, with a testimonial from a Poppy…well, just click and see!
