Mary Palmer – Featured in the Daily Press in Newport News, VA

February 5, 2015

Mary Palmer was featured in an article in The Daily Press (of Newport News, VA):

Mary Palmer Dargan. Licensed in landscape architecture, Dargan began her love affair with the environment as a botanist, and now specializes in creating sustainable home environments.

Her website — dargan.com — features many how-to videos for novice horticulturists, budding garden designers and homeowners and master landscape designers.

“Timeless landscape design is more than selecting heritage trees and shrubs,” she says.
“It is about coaxing the very best from your property so that you express its genius loci, or spirit of place. Did you know that your property has a genetic code just waiting to be broken? Each property is as unique as a fingerprint, but has a universal language.
Perplexed about how to knit the dysfunctional parts of your property together? Learn the secrets of The 4 Part Master Plan, and see the forest for the trees.
“Do you want to maximize your home environment’s value as you age in place, or hold its value when you move on? Lifelong landscape design has eight steps to creating the perfectly timeless oasis.”
