My favorite courtyard is at 55 Church Street, The Benjamin Phillips House. Together with owners, Dianne and John Avlon, we created this oasis in 1986 and it has won many national awards for its transformation over the years.

Its a pleasure to be speaking to the Charleston Garden Club at the Charleston Museum on November 7 at 10 am.  Teaching is second nature to me, so while there am giving 2 lectures with tests to the National Garden Club’s Landscape Design School  for the Garden Club of South Carolina.
