010 The Certificate of Accomplishment in Landscape Design Introduction

While a landscape architecture and planning professor at Clemson University from 2001-2005, I created a novel landscape design course for distance and continuing education. Structured for residential landscape and garden design solutions, this certificate program is geared for homeowners who wish to fully express the potential of their properties, or for professionals in horticulture, design build who wish to produce the best for their clients.

The course was enormously popular, critically acclaimed and produced graduates in several states. The CCALD course lasted from 2001until spring 2008. Today, these valuable power point shows from the musty halls of my teaching website are free for your landscape design edification. They consisted of 4800 images from 48 slide shows with topics of landscape design, planting design, construction and landscape history. Access is yours to the review sets of 2000 slides!

My blog, “Birth of a Design Certificate“, describes the process of creating this new material.
